Natasha Brand selected to participate in the fifth cohort of the ULI Health Leaders Network
The Building Healthy Places Initiative has announced the participants in the fifth cohort of the ULI Health Leaders Network. The Health Leaders Network is designed to empower real estate and land use professionals with the skills, knowledge, and networks to improve health and equity outcomes in their professional practice and communities.
Verdant Studio's Research Lead, Natasha Brand, was named among the twenty-seven professionals in real estate development, planning, design, engineering, finance, and public health who were selected from across the globe to participate in this exclusive group.
Participants gain valuable skills and connections that will help them advance their careers, as well as practical knowledge about the intersection between health, social equity, and the built environment.
"I am excited to announce my acceptance into the 2022 ULI Health Leaders Network, and very proud to represent Northwest Arkansas at the global level! I'm looking forward to sharing and learning about topics that have become my passion, through research and community engagement!" said Brand.
Participants in the Health Leaders Network are expected to attend three forums (two of which will be in-person), which will focus on leadership development and network building. Health Leaders will also participate in monthly interactive podcasts and expert Q&A sessions exploring topics related to health and land use and interact with others in their cohort through cohort meetings and peer reviews of individual assignments.
